The destination for the next Scrapheap Adventure Ride has been announced so its time to start planning your 2013 adventure!
The event involves motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country purchasing a bike for no more than $1000 and doing it up for an adventure ride through the Aussie outback.
In just three years the event has raised an astonishing $150,000 for Down Syndrome NSW.
Riders begin their journey at home or wherever they like but arrive at the same destination.
This year, the destination is Comeroo Camel Station, located 150kms North-West of Bourke where riders and non-riders can stay and camp on March 29 and 30. www.comeroo.com

The Scrapheap Adventure Ride is all about raising money for Down Syndrome NSW, Riders will attempt to get their machines from their sheds to the destination and raise money through sponsorship. All funds raised go to Down Syndrome NSW. The 2011 Scrapheap Adventure raised over $66,000 dollars, the 2012 SAR raised $70,000 and we are looking to make 2013 bigger and better.
