Story
Hey Guys, I've been customising and fitting out my little Postie bike, a recently purchased 2010 Honda CT110. The idea was to have a bit of fun with it and create my version of the "Poor Mans Adventure Bike".
I was going to ride it from Bendigo to Menindee NSW, camp out there and have a bit of fun in the sand dunes and stuff. Then I came across the Scrapheap Adventure Ride and thought WOW... this looks great and I reckon the Postie can make it another 500kms to Comeroo Station near Bourke NSW.
I also checked out a lot of the profiles of the guys and photo's of the bikes that will be all meeting up out there in the middle of the outback and I gotta say they look like a great bunch of guys and some of the bikes and setups are bloody awesome too!!
So it was a no brainer... help a very worthwhile cause "Down Syndrome NSW", Get to do an Adventure Ride on the Postie and meetup with a whole bunch of guys having a great time and get to check out all the crazy, inventive, cool and unique bikes that will be there!
So here I am all registered and signed up... my bike is already to go... bags are pretty much packed... all I have to do is wait for the 29th of March to roll around and hopefuly get some fundraising money in for the guys at Down Syndrome NSW.
If you can spare a bit of money and would like to donate to a great cause... THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC :-)

Down Syndrome NSW
Down Syndrome NSW (DS NSW) exists to champion the right of people with Down syndrome to have the same access to society as everyone else.
This means the same rights to health, education, work, family and being part of the community.We strive to achieve this by supporting people with Down syndrome, their families and carers to be part of a strong and vibrant community that is informed, engaged and active.
DS NSW is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that was established in 1980 by parents of children with Down syndrome. Today DS NSW is still proudly parent run.
